Best Pole Dancing Shoes is an independent guide to pole heels, boots and gear, run by Amber Lewis. The site has been helping dancers choose pole shoes since 2012, from first heels-class shoes to competition boots. We cover Pleaser, Hella Heels, Ellie Shoes and more, for dancers in the US, UK and beyond.
How we choose our picks
We don’t claim to have worn every shoe we write about. Instead, every guide is built from:
- Manufacturer specs: heel and platform heights, materials, size ranges and fit advice from Pleaser, Hella Heels and other brands.
- Stockist and studio advice: guidance from specialist pole retailers and pole schools.
- Dancer reviews: ratings and common praise or complaints from verified buyers and pole communities.
- Current prices and policies: checked on brand and retailer websites and dated on each page.
We link to our sources at the end of each guide, and we update pages when prices, models or advice change.
